How FLSS collects, protects and governs the use of information across our investigative intelligence platform.

Privacy Policy
FLSS collects only the information necessary to process enquiries, deliver litigation intelligence services and maintain the integrity of our proprietary database. This includes contact details submitted through our forms, correspondence relating to engagements, and operational records required for client due diligence.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. Information submitted through our contact and enquiry forms is used solely to respond to your request, prepare quotations and administer active engagements. Data relating to litigation searches and investigative findings is stored within our access-controlled, air-gapped systems and is never exposed to public networks.
Clients may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their contact information at any time by writing to our enquiries address. Retention periods for case-related records follow applicable regulatory and professional standards for litigation support services in each jurisdiction we operate.
Terms of Use
By engaging FLSS or accessing our website, you agree to use our services solely for lawful investigative, litigation-support, due diligence and risk-management purposes. Access to the FLSS database and its indexed records is provided under subscription or engagement terms agreed separately with each client.
All content on this website — including methodology descriptions, service summaries and platform materials — is provided for informational purposes and remains the property of FLSS. Reproduction, redistribution or resale of our findings, reports or database extracts without written authorisation is prohibited.
FLSS reserves the right to decline, suspend or terminate any engagement that it reasonably believes is intended for unlawful surveillance, harassment, discrimination or any purpose inconsistent with applicable data protection and consumer reporting regulations.
Confidentiality
Confidentiality is fundamental to our practice. Every engagement, enquiry and search request is treated as privileged and is not disclosed to any third party without the client's written consent, except where required by law or court order.
Our investigative records are held within an air-gapped vault, never connected to the internet, with manually managed backups stored across separate, independently secured locations. Access to case files is restricted to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis, and all staff and contractors are bound by confidentiality agreements covering client identities, matter details and findings.
Communications between FLSS and its clients — including quotation requests, case instructions and delivered reports — are handled under the same confidentiality standard applied to legal support engagements generally.
Permitted Use
Intelligence, records and reports provided by FLSS may be used only for the specific purpose disclosed at the time of engagement — typically litigation preparation, corporate due diligence, asset tracing, insolvency assessment or comparable risk and compliance functions.
Clients agree not to use FLSS findings for employment screening, credit decisioning, tenancy screening or any consumer-reporting purpose unless expressly agreed in writing and conducted in compliance with applicable consumer protection legislation in the relevant jurisdiction.
Onward sharing of reports is limited to counsel, insurers, regulators or other parties directly involved in the matter for which the report was commissioned, and only where such sharing is necessary to that matter.
Disclaimer
FLSS compiles litigation and investigative intelligence from court records, public filings and verified source networks across the jurisdictions we cover. While every record is sourced, timestamped and reconciled through our AIRP methodology, we cannot guarantee that any database or public record is entirely free of error, delay or omission at the source.
Findings and reports are provided to support — not replace — independent legal advice and professional judgment. FLSS accepts no liability for decisions made solely on the basis of a report without independent verification where the matter warrants it.
Coverage, indexing depth and update frequency vary by jurisdiction. Where a specific jurisdiction or record type is critical to a matter, clients are encouraged to confirm current coverage with our team before relying on search results.
